Ahead of the 2019-20 season, I was engaged by Max Events to help create some of the LED and Stadium content for the Melbourne Renegades, including their player profile graphics. For the BBL this entailed creating seven different LED tiles per player to be used across Marvel and Geelong Stadium, plus a templated graphic to be added to footage shot by Max Events. The WBBL team required animated profiles incorporating various photos of each player, to be shown on the stadium screens.
Creating engaging and on-brand creative whilst being mindful of the various technical specifications for the LED content was challenging, but by using a modular approach to their layout as well as creating various expressions within After Effects to ensure elements were evenly spaced, I was able to create a bold suite of content and provide the requisite deliverables.
